26 Oct 'Appraising Multiculturalism: Politics, Policy and Practice' Symposium

We are in the final year of this project and are planning towards this symposium on 26 October 2023.

This symposium will present and discuss key findings this Australian Research Council Linkage Project on 'Mapping Social Services in Multicultural Societies'. It aims to share evidence-based knowledge, exchange ideas across sectors, and forge future collaborations that can contribute to the advancement of multicultural policies and practices in Australia.

The Hon. Ingrid Stitt MP, Minister for Mental Health, Ageing and Multicultural Affairs will open the symposium with a welcome speech, with an introduction from Alfred Deakin Professor Fethi Mansouri and Senior Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic & Alfred Deakin Professor Liz Johnson.

Lunch will be provided.
