About the Project

This project aims to investigate a shift in service delivery from community-specific to mainstream organisations, informed by Australian policies. It will employ an exploratory, sequential, mixed-methods approach that combines qualitative and quantitative sociological methods through interviews and survey questionnaires across two sites in Victoria. This exploratory approach will allow us to map the different service-provision experiences by diverse communities and for us to analyse the perceived impact of mainstreaming on service stakeholders, including clients, service providers and community/society at large.

This research is funded through an Australian Research Council Linkage Grant from 2020 to 2023 (LP190100459).
